Easy Populate causing discounted prices to dissapear

Hi, I have a strange problem where not all but most of my specials dissapear after importing my EP file.

Immediately after the import, i can see the specials but after about 5 mins, they dissapear. I will then re-import and i get the same problem, specials are there then they dissapear.

I am running 1.3.8a on php 5.2.8

Problem resolved

The automatic export filled the specials field with an expiry date of 31/12/1969 and that was causing them to disappear.
