    Default we are not accepting payments from your region

    The store location is South Dakota.

    When I try to process an order with a ship to address in South Dakota the order goes through fine.

    However if I try to process and order outside of SD I receive the message of we are not accepting payments from your region.

    Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    This sounds like you have added a Zone to your Payment module ... set it to none if everywhere can pay ...

    Ajeh,

    I have a similar problem. I get as far as the final checkout page and get "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time."

    I have not intentionally entered any zones, and now I can't remember where I saw this. Can you please give more detail in regard to where to check for this?

    Interestingly, however, I was able to checkout in spite of the appearance of this message! Strange!

    I "bought" a product that is set up as virtual and no cost, for test purposes. After I have "paid" for it, shouldn't I be given its URL location so I can download it???

    Downloads are setup as:
    Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required
    Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules
    Whether or not the Download is immediately available can be controlled in the Module ... Payment ... and setting the Order Status for the Payment modules to determine if the Download will be available right when purchased or if you need to approve it ...

    By Default, the Downloads are available when the Orders Status is set at >= 2 or <= 4 ... Processing (orders_status = 2), Delivered (orders_status = 3) or Updated (orders_status = 4) ...

    Thanks, Ajeh. I will check out those sections. Downloads are not real important for my situation, but there is one document I want to set up that way.

    I am more concerned about why the script is giving the "we are not accepting payments..." error even though I have set up no zones AND yet the payment goes through if one ignores the error and goes on!?

    By the way, I had checked the zones and it appears that FLA was set up there by default, but I deleted it. So, unless zones can be set up more than one way, there should be none...

    Have you an URL to your site that we could perhaps peek at?

    The URL is woodlandscondos.org/payments/

    Bear in mind that the site is not in test mode now. But using the following card number (plus any 3 digit security code and any future card expiration date) will be treated as a test:

    5105 1051 0510 5100

    (That's 5 followed by 105 FOUR times, followed by 100)

    There is only one payment module installed: Authorize dot net, and that is all we need.

    From what I can see, the problem is originating at my site and has nothing to do with Authorize dot net. If you ignore the error, the payment "goes thru" to Authorize dot net without a further problem...confirmation emails come from my site and Authorize, etc.

    Yes. Test mode works fine.
