help question Sending welcome email after activation

I have set the Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending (2)-- so the client will have to wait for the Admin to "activate" him, I'd like the system to send a welcome email that he is activated and can start buying once we hit Authorize in the admin.

is it done manually? im using 1.3.7, will appreciate any help!

If I recall correctly, in v1.3.8 if the activation is done by clicking on the red button on the admin customers-listing, an email is automatically sent to the customer.
I don't remember whether that feature was in v1.3.7. If not, you'll have to do it manually.

I think the logic is localized to just one file: /admin/customers.php. Very little HTML knowledge required, but will require PHP coding knowledge to customize the code.
