Default Problem redirecting to /catalog/ folder

I installed ZC 1.3.8a to the folder /catalog/, so I need to configure my site to redirect to that folder, i.e. when users type "mydomain.com" they will be redirected to "mydomain.com/catalog"

I changed my .htaccess in the root folder as follow:

    RewriteEngine on

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^btouchsolutions.com$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.btouchsolutions.com$
    RewriteRule ^.*$ "http\:\/\/www\.btouchsolutions\.com\/catalog\/" [R=301,L]
But then I got redirect loop error, the browser can never point to the site. This is what FireFox said, "Redirect Loop. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

    Here's my /catalog/includes/configure.php file:

Would be easier to move store to root and alter configure files accordingly...better for search engines too..

It's not actually my site. I build it for someone else and he wants it that way.

Then add following code to .htaccess file,
    altering to domain url required
    Code:
