Default Error (admin) after complete install

    Dear,

Yesterday i installed Zencart on my server. The install was good, and there where no errors.

Only at the last moment/screen from the installation. I got a choice:

    1. Go to the webshop:
    2. Go to the admin:

Option 1: everyting allright, the shop seems good (Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution.)

    Option 2:
Admin: I got a error message:

The requested URL /zencart/admin/login.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/2 Server at www........nl Port 443

I search in google and this forum, but i can get a solution to solve this problem? Anyone knows a good idea? I did the installation two times, and both i got this error message.....

I hope someone can help me :) Do i have to change someting in a .php file?

I had a quick look on google..

Someone else had same issue.. however on a reinstall they got it working. Sounds like the method your using to upload the file to the server is flawed or when you downloaded Zen Cart originally it didn't download properly.

I suggest re download Zen Cart from Zen Cart website and use another FTP client. Filezilla is quite good.

or upload using SSH if your falmilair with that.

Other than that ensure all your server settings are correct for Zen Cart to work.. ie register globals, safe mode etc.. check out the documentation when you download Zen Cart.
    That wasn't the plan!

back up your current admin folder .. then overwrite it with admin on your local hardrive .. see if that will solve it ., since this error pointing as missing file , or perhaps corrupted file ..

I did, it doesn't matter. I also did a new installation. The only 'warning' (as a picture = !) i get is with System Inspection:

    # PHP open_basedir restrictions = /home/deb13223/:/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/
    # PHP Output Buffering (gzip) = OFF

    Is that some problem?

I think i got the problem. Who can help me?

I did a new installation and i set the option:

    SSL secure shop: enable (on)
SSL secure admin: not enable (off)

Now, i can go in my admin.
But my question: is it a 'problem' that i didn't enable secure SSL for the admin, or not? (if yes, how can i solve this)?
