    Default Moved web server

    Hi,

I've scoured the forums on this so apologies if I've missed a solution but here goes....

Tonight I upgraded my web hosting package (still same provider) which has had the effect of breaking my website www.everythingpc.ltd.uk . As you will see, it's now defaulting to the zencart installation page.

The database server address remains unchanged. The only thing I think may have changed is the ip address of the webserver. However, this is being picked up with the dns servers so I can't understand why zencart would be affected by this.

So what have I done so far? I've tried this http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=82 but cant seem to make this do anything as the default page continues to be displayed - no messages appear. Although to be honest, I'm not entirely certain which instance of index.php I should be running it.

The configure.php files seem fine, both pointing to my url.

I am totally bemused and tearing my hair out with this, so if anyone could offer any help it would be so much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Simon

If you recently edited your configure.php files for any reason, or maybe moved your site to a different folder or different server, then you'll need to review and update all your settings to the correct values for your server.
In this upgrade, were you moved to a different server?
    Is this a linux server?
    was the old server linux?
    Is this a cPanel account?
    Etc

Yes. My site was moved. I've had that confirmed by the hosts.
Both old and new servers are windows.

As regards cPanel, thats a negative.

Just a thought, one difference other than the physical server move is that load balancing has been enabled. Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks

Check the servers absolute and virtual paths from old to new and correct in your configure.php files
