    Default AVS Mismatch in Authorize.net

I get the following error a lot. Most of the orders go through fine.

"The transaction resulted in an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance."

I understand that Zen Cart checks the billing address versus the Credit card info and kicks the error back when they are not Exact! Is there a way to set the cart so that it only varifies the zip code or CCV number and not the entire address?

    Thanks

We have the authorize.net set to only verify the ccv number. But Zen still matchs the address' and sends the error. If the address is exact, no error and it works fine, but people don't always remember how they wrote their street name. It is annoying.

Zen Cart doesn't handle the decision-making about whether to reject the address or not. It just receives a message from authorize.net about whether the order should be accepted or refused.
That's decided based on your settings inside your Authorize.net account, which you must manage yourself.
