Fresh Zen -- JellyFish Template Support Thread

Ok I think I figured it out... just install the "includes" folder onto the existing one and don't bother worrying custom files and overrides. I thought it prudent to back up the original directory of course. In any case this seems to work now.

I do wonder if it would be better to now do any changes I have to this zenfish template using the overrides methodology. When it comes time to upgrade zen cart it would seem there will be a good deal of work to re-install and customize this template since you would want the baseline includes directory from a fresh zencart install I assume.

@KevinsWorld, normally it won't affect the theme when you update the zen-cart system. and when I will always check the zen-cart update too, so don't worry~ enjoy ~

I'm working with this template and am trying to change the footer background to a repeating background.

I tried doing this:
#footerwrapper {
background: url(../images/bg_foot.jpg) center bottom repeat-x;
font-size: 11px;
}

Just changing where it said no-repeat to repeat-x, nothing changed, so I deleted the line altogether and to my surprise, still nothing changed.

So it now says,
#footerwrapper {
font-size: 11px;
}

And bg_foot.jpg still shows up bottom center of my page. Where is this graphic referenced at? I don't find it in any of the .css files.
I would like to make it a repeating background from left to right, but obviously something besides the stylesheet_tv.css is controlling this.

Any ideas?

I test many templates, but never really looked close at this one until just now. I suppose because it's theme is so aqua oriented.

But it does have some nice features, if one can work around the default theme that may not be suitable.

Wonder if it is good for the new 1.5 cart....
