Google Checkout Problem

I just installed this addon and its acting really weird.

First of all, I don't get the big blue Google Checkout button on the shopping cart page. Instead I get a radio button on the payment page.

Second of all, if I select Google Checkout as my payment option, it just redirects me back to the shopping cart page after I hit "confirm".

What is going on???

You need to post this in the Google Checkout Support Thread.

It's a common problem and it sounds like you've just installed it wrong. You're not supposed to get a radio button for GC as it's against their user agreement and it will not work. The only way GC works is with the big blue button. To get the big blue button working correctly, you need to have a proper install and you need to have your account properly configured.

It's a B**** of a mod to install but worth it when you get there :-)

Actually it wasn't difficult at all for me to install (despite quite a few add-on already been installed) - and make it work.

(the trick is to upload a .tgz version of the directory structure, then tar -zxvf it)

However, at the moment it seems impossible for me to make it work for downloadables. In fact, I have yet to read about any successful such attempt.
