I have a minor USPS Module problem...

Seems that when a customer chooses First Class Mail as a shipping option, it is only priced correctly for orders under 13 ounces. If it is over 13 ounces, the post office bumps it up to Priority Mail and the cost is doubled (at my expense) Is there any way to fix this?

If not, how does the Handling attribute work for the USPS module? How can I add a flat handling fee to all packages...say 5%? I entered 5 in the box, but it seems to just add $5 to the shipping cost.

Make sure that you are using the current USPS shipping module:

Make sure that you follow all installation instructions ...

First Class will only work on 13 ounces or less if I am not mistaken ...

The 5 in handling is $5.00 ... you would have to customize the code to calculate 5% on the order ...

I'm confused on which USPS module to use from the link? v13.x or v12.x ?

I'm thinking v13.x since I'm running Zen Cart v1.3.8

That is correct ... the x is for anything in the v1.3.x series ... which includes the v1.3.8 ...

I am wondering if this worked for the OP? I have the latest version of Zencart and installed the latest usps module by following the link provided in this thread, but I am still having the same exact issue. I am only using the USPS shipping module, and when a customer loads up the cart with items that weight more than the 13 ounces, it still allows them to select the first class option, which it should force them to select the Priority shipping option. Any ideas?
