I recently set up three small ecommerce sites with Zen Cart and love it, and hope now to begin marketing!
On the other two I managed to use my header on invoices and packing slips, and realized I hadn't done the same here.
So yesterday, I followed the printed directions from
www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?print=256
The image appears in the admin fine. May need some tweaking on the packing slips, but it works.
However, when I went to check the website, I had a logo on top of the header. I went into the tpl_header in the Template_Default, Common files, to comment out the logo as I'd previously done. Uploaded it. Refreshed, now instead of my logo, zen cart's is on top my header.
This is 1.3.8 by the way, kachinaoutpost dot com
While it would seem this is an easy fix, I'm wondering if my problems stem from the following.
This site is with a different host that requires everthing to be downloaded in a docs folder. I had someone do this for me at the time. When I was backing up the files on my computer before making any changes, I thought zen may have been installed in the second docs folder. I decided, wrongly apparently, to make a separate backup in a backup folder I wouldn't touch and began doing that. However, as I was backing up the files one at a time, I noticed the directory for docs kept repeating, and abandoned this idea altogether. I've tried to delete that unused backup folder, but it won't let me. Apparently it's a permissions issue,
and I was afraid if I continued, it would wipe out the store.
Could this be affecting this issue?
Any help would be much appreciated. I've suspended advertising until I can resolve the issue.
Thanks so much!
Sandy
