    Default Shoping cart isn't emptying after payment

    I have just set up a new site.

    While testing, I noticed that the shoping cart is not emptying after I have made a payment. In otherwords, after paying, when I log back onto the site, the shopping car is still showing the items which were paid for.

    The items being sold are course registrations - no shipping is required, only the capturing of client information and payment.

    In the "Orders" window, I get the following message next to a "red dot": Billing and Shipping does not match.

    Any help regarding what I am doing wrong would be very appreciated.


    The facts:
    Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
    PHP Version: 4.4.7 (Zend: 1.3.0)

    This was a new installation - not an upgrade.

    This doesn't make any sense if you have not changed the code in any way ...

    Have you tried to switch to the Classic Template, just in case this is somehow related to your template, and see if the behavior persists?

    What if you create a new customer ... does it still happen?

    Have you an URL that we could perhaps peek at to see if we can see anything unusual on the site?

    What payment module are you using?
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
