Problems after installing security patch 06 19 2009

hi
I just renamed my admin folder uploaded all the patch files where they were supposed to when I try to log in throuh my new folder name, it doe snot direct me to the admin panel instead I get a 404 Not found eror
any idea?

Did you change your admin/includes/configure.php file to tell it where you have moved your admin to?

You forgot to edit the config file for the admin section.

I uploaded the new files via my FTP software.

Tried to change the admin name and it did not work.

Again I need some help as Im not doing something right.

I changed back as I need access to my admin page.

Can anyone help me with this.

Zen Cart 1.3.8a security patch installed.
After installing patch I have a problem with layout boxes.
In 'admin' (renamed to something else) I go to 'tools' - 'layout boxes controller' and choose to turn off 'record_companies' (I am pretty sure it was turned off before patch, but is on now). when I click the 'update' button the page refreshes to 'ststistics' (hit counter etc).
Site does not reflect changes made and if I go back to 'layout boxes controller' the 'off' is again not selected.
Site is fairly basic couple of minor changes.

Just tried adding a product and that worked, but adding a catagory failed with the same symptoms, when I click the 'save' button the page refreshes to 'ststistics' (hit counter etc).
