Default Re: Admin is now READ ONLY.. (didn't install the patch correctly)

    Just to clarify...

Go to edit an existing product and scroll down to the image section.
To the right hand side of the 'Browse' button the existing image path will be displayed.

If the image is uploaded to your 'images' directory then it will simply display 'your_image.jpg' (where your_image is the name of the image).

If you uploaded the images to a subdirectory of the Image folder e.g. yoursite/images/coffee then it will display 'coffee/your_image.jpg'

To the right of the image path is also a drop down box that confirms where the image is stored.

Additionally, check there are no spaces in the file name and also be aware of case sensitivity....

Check the folder permissions of the IMAGES directory... mine are set at 755

...and the image permissions set to 644...
If at first you don't succeed.... lower your standards.

Thanks for helping! My image file is read/write. It is only zen-cart the images do not display. In my private folder and imglib, they display fine. When I try to edit or add new product, the path is my_image.jpg. They upload to the main directory. The path seems fine. I have tried to change the path to web/imglib/my_image.jpg, and this is not successful either. I have copied images that display from the web/imglib to the zen/images, and they do not display in Zen. This problem has only occured since I tried to add a group of new images and also the security patch. I know it has to be something very simple for most, I just can't see it.
    PS Happy 4th everyone!
