    Default Payments Pro: Timeout error? IE8?

    Hi all,

    Since 'upgrading' to Payments Pro, I've had 2 customers contact me saying that at the point in the order process where they finally click the 'pay' button, they are returned to the cart with a 'oops, session has timed out, log in again' message. The payment process to this point has gone quickly and smoothly. I don't know how many have met the problem and just gone away, as opposed to contacting me, but have seen a drop in traffic since I switched to PPPro.
    The one customer I spoke to on the phone was using IE (don't know what version, or OS, but may do soon...), when she ordered using Firefox, the order went through fine. I have been unable to replicate the fault.
    Is this browser, PP, OS, Zencart, or unknown? Has anyone else seen this?

    Customer just got back, it is IE (I'm guessing 7) and Vista - used another browser, order went through fine. So, is the issue with M$, ZC or PP?

    I am having the same issue.

    1.3.8 version.

    I have not been able to duplicate it.

    Does it in all browsers. Chrome, Firefox & IE.

    So, is there anyone out there with a suggestion or solution? Looks like it's not an isolated issue. Anything to do with ie8 & paypal?

    I do not know for sure if our customers are experiencing this timeout error, but I have been having PayPal problems and have recently been seeing more accounts created without an order than in the past. Something is up... now if I could just figure out what!

    Quick question to everyone - are express checkout orders coming through ok? My problem seems to be limited to WPP orders. Accounts get created but there is no order showing up in ZC or PayPal.

    My collection of logs is growing, I will keep everyone updated.

    I still have this problem, and it's driving me up the wall.
    PayPal insist it's not them, but an issue with IE8 and Vista, probably.
    I can't reproduce the problem, and have no idea how many sales I'm losing, because the only evidence of a failed order is if the customer contacts me directly to let me know of the problem.

    If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

    This has been going on for ages now and there are a number of non solutions which can't be tested etc...
    IE8 compatibility mode seems to be the problem but adding code does not solve the problem, I too am getting vexed by this BIG TIME
