Show all categories on separate page, not home?

Hi,

I want to just show a few select categories on the homepage, then the rest on a separate Products' page. It's fine that we have all the main categories on the left sidebar, but we just don't want all these same categories showing up in the content area too.

Any ideas?

admin > config > layout settings > Main Page - Opens with Category > read the instructions
0= Top Level Categories
Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10

Kobra always comes through, thank you. Okay, so I can limit certain categories now on the home page, but is there a way to have all the categories show up on another page. For instance, when someone clicks on Products, they'll go to a page that lists all the categories?

Since you do not want to use the "0" setting for the main page I suspect that you will have to create another php page for this if you want to maintain the dynamic nature and pickup those parts of the code for this new page from the normal maain page

I'm back...

Okay, I finally got around to doing this and thus created a separate page, however, I'm having a difficult time separating some of the functionality.

As you can see, they're identical. I want to limit the homepage to just a few select categories in the content area (I know how to do this part), then have all the categories show on the "Products" page. The problem is both pages are using the same functionality for listing the categories in the content area, so if I limit the main page to just a few categories, it limits the Products page too. How can I get around this issue?

I'm using the latest Zen Cart.
