Email Notifications

I've been trying to get the order confirmation emails sent, registration emails, etc., but I can't seem to make it work. I've been in Admin>Configuration>Email Options - and have set up all of the email addresses to which I want the notifications sent but, it doesn't seem to be working. I have not, however, adjusted these options at all as I have no idea what they're about. Though, I suspect the solution to my problem lies here:

SMTP Email Account Mailbox YourEmailAccountNameHere
SMTP Email Account Password ****************
SMTP Email Mail Host mail.EnterYourDomain.com
SMTP Email Mail Server Port 25

I should have been more patient. It just took a minute for the emails to go through. Everything's good in the hood now.
