    Default change time stamps

    im not at -0500
    im london gmt
    how do i change this??
    also when i add products. i set the date added to 21/07/2009
    but the product states
    This product was added to our catalog on Tuesday 30 November, 1999

    WHAAA?? i wasn't even online then lol!

    If you're referring to the date/time information in your admin menu bar, that comes directly from the server hosting your website. That's *its* clock detail.

    You're not meant to. However, if it's a problem, there is a Time Zone Offset addon which you could experiment with if you're feeling lucky.

    Since the current version of the Zen Cart UI doesn't offer the option of setting the date-added manually, I must assume that you're making such edits manually using something like phpMyAdmin.
    When making raw database edits, it's VERY important that you follow the same formatting conventions as the server itself uses. In the case of MySQL, proper date/time notation follows a specific format. For dates, it's YYYY-MM-DD.
    Since you've entered the date in the wrong format, it's displaying a default fallback value when the data is retrieved.

    Perhaps you need to change your date format in your spreadsheet to MM/DD/YYYY in order for EasyPopulate to properly parse it?
    I don't use EasyPopulate, so am probably not the one to answer questions related to it.

    im using UK date format
    if i switch to US format its got the correct date on it.
