Default Zenid problem, page not found only for ez pages or define pages ???

    Hi all,

I am using zencart 1.3.7 and here is my session's setting:
    session directory: /home/xxx.com/cache/
    cookie domain: true
    force cookie use: false
    check ssl session id: false
    check user agent: false
    check ip address:false
    prevent spider session: true
    recreate session: true
ip to host conversion status: true

my problem only happens infrequently. most of my links do not have the zenid append to it. but whenever it does, i could not access that page (page not found error). and I realize that this problem only happens to those pages that i have created with the page editor or ez pages (product pages are fine). any idea?

    tks a lot!

tks for your reply. let me make my question clearer:

whenever i try to access my website with the zenid:
    xxxxx.com/contact_us.html&zenid=r7titasm55rl9nb6sdic1dltl0

It just shows up "page not found" error. normally, this problem is associated with pages created with ezpages or page editor i.e. contact us page.

    any advise is appreciated.

    tks

Since Zen Cart does not create URLs such as ".../contact_us.html" unless you've installed an addon to change the way URLs are built, I would first suggest that you go looking into your addons to see whether one of those is causing the problem you mention. It's *very* common for so-called SEFU addons to create all kinds of confusion if you don't use them exactly right (including exactly perfect .htaccess rules for *your* specific hosting server) or if the addon isn't written exactly perfectly.

    Hi,

I actually did not install any SEFU addons and I only enable SEO URL.

    Any advice?

    Thank you so much

    regards,
    Andy

Zen Cart 1.3.x does not have SEO URL built-in, so if you "enabled" it, then you must have an addon.
Either way, turn it off, or uninstall it.
