How can I move my search box from the header to a sidebox?

I am using a tempate called "modern notepad" and i tried searching for it in the free addons area to see if there was a link to a thread for it, but it wasn't found.

My site is at www.motherhoodnaturally.com/scratchcooking and I'd like to move my search box to the side column with my categories, etc. But right now as a part of the template it shows up in my header.

Also, any idea how to get rid of that band of grey in the background??

modern notepad is a wordpress template.

It looks like you're trying to call Zencart pages from Wordpress. Is that right?
