Zen Cart and social networking?

Does anyone know how or have the ability to take Zen Cart and make it part of a social network or better yet is there a way to turn Zen Cart into a social network.

This is old now, but...

How about using RSS to publish product information and/or announcements to platforms that support feeds?
For example, use the fb 'social rss' application to publish your product updates to your facebook page.
From there you could hook into twitter, friendfeed and aggregate on other lifestream platforms.
