Full Product Setup automated?

I've been in contact with my host and they have mentioned that i may have to do the full product setup manually for my digital downloads via setting attributes manually via the admin, im just wondering if there is an easier way of getting this automated as i have a high bulk of products ( in the thousands ) to do at once.

You'd probably need a custom-built script to import your data. As far as I know (and I may be wrong), the Easy Populate module doesn't support download file attributes.
