Admin "This page is Filipino" Message from Google Toolbar?

When logging into various Zen Cart Admins (1.3.8a) I receive the following message (from Google Toolbar).

This page is Filipino. Translate is using Google Toolbar?
The content of this secure page will be sent to Google for translation using a secure connection.

Obviously an update to Google Toolbar has caused this message to be displayed (since I've not changed any of the admin files recently).

Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm seeing the same thing on some of the sites I visit, but not all of them.
Don't think it's server related because they are on different servers.

Yes, I started getting the same.. as stated it looks like an update to Google Toolbar.

If you don't need or use translation regularly, you can just switch it off.

Google Tool Bar -> Options -> Tools -> Uncheck the Translate box.

Not sure why it thinks it's Filipino though, but that should at least remove it and avoid any further questions from other admin users on your site.

This has happened to me as well; I'm using v 1.3.8, and have installed all security patches that I know of.

What concerns me is that I have also noticed an increase in traffic from the Phillipines.

Does anyone else think this is cause for concern?

That would be an excellent idea if you could actually get anyone at Google to respond. I tried posting the question in their forum and the only response I got was, "Me too."

Actually, when I had zen cart 1.3.8 last year, i too had an increased traffic from the phillipines. I had only one specific customer I would sell to from there. I would like to know what it is though, and how to change it, because as of now I do not ship international.

A little side note about google toolbar. I had problems with IE7 and IE8 both crashing alot for no particular reason. So just as a guess I uninstalled the google toolbar and I have not had any crashes in IE since. But I do miss the autofill and page ranks features. But the trade off was worth it. Crashing is bad lol

If we were getting this odd message all over the place, we'd ask Google. Be since we only get it with Zen-Cart, we ask Zenners.

I too get this Filipino translation message on a few cart admins.

Does reinstalling the latest version of Toolbar fix the language detection issues you're seeing on your admin pages? You can do so from our homepage:
