Error Message even when all required fields are filled

Hello,

I am new to this message board out of desperation. My site is unable to add new customers for sometime now. When asked to fill in the required information boxes, the following error message occurs:


"Errors Have Occurred During the Processing Of Your Form.
Please make the following corrections:
*"

Even when all required information is filled in, the above message occurs.

What happens if you set Admin - Configuration - Customer Details - State - Always Display as Pulldown to True ?

It doesn't do anything, just adds the states pulldown for the United States only.

However, by experimenting, somehow, I figured out that "Company Name"- "Company Details" became a required field. If I put something in the "Company Name" box, it was creating a new account. If I left it blank, the following message kept popping up:

Is it imperative to keep "Company Name" in the fields and get it fixed, or should I get rid of it altogether and save myself a problem?

Change the Minimum Value on the Company Field to 0 instead of 2 and it won't be required ...

NOTE: edit the language file to remove the * next to any of the fields not required ...
