Any methods to keep admin in English when install French or German language pack?

I only want to install French and German language pack for front pages. Any methods to keep admin in English when install French or German language pack?

I haven't used language packs, but I'd guess you just don't copy the files from the 'admin' directory.

To keep the admin in English for language packs, do the following (I used the Spanish language pack as the example):

1. On your computer, go to the directory admin/includes/languages
2. Copy english.php and the folder english and place it on your desktop
3. Rename english.php to spanish.php
4. Rename the folder english to spanish
5. Open your FTP and transfer your renamed file and folder to the directory admin/includes/languages
6. Check your work by opening your admin and going to "Define Language" to select Spanish

Output files like e-mail and other admin files that require language files may be affected. Test e-mail and other admin properties with a test customer. I'm still testing this on a test cart.
