Free shipping in canada - rest of world pays

Ok like the title stats..

Have client that want to now, include free shipping for any CDN buyers.

But for anyother buyers they have to pay for shipping..

How can I do this.. I'm right now using the CDN post shipping mod for my shipping..

You can setup the Free Shipping Options freeoptions with a Zone for Canada ...

Set the Total to >= 0 and make a Zone just for Canada and add it to this module ...

Now, your Canadian shipping addresses will see this Free Option, plus the other shipping options ...

The advantage of both showing is that the customer can decide on the Free slow boat to Canada or pick another shipping method ...

Ok did this..

1. added a new zone CANADA ALL - added all canada to it..
2. the icon is YELLOW
3. I went to add in Shipping mod FREE SHIPPING
4. Enable Free Shipping

True

Free Shipping Cost
What is the Shipping cost?0.00


Handling Fee
Handling fee for this shipping method. 0.00

Tax class - NONE

Shipping ZONE - set to CANADA ALL FREE SHIPPING.

5. But in the free shipping mod the icon is YELLOW
6. I went to test it out.. as i have a cdn address and doesn't give me the FREE shipping option.. give me my cdn post and my walk in but no free..

did i do something wrong?

i just found this

I was using the #2 one and that one did't work. and i just saw the #1 and test that one and it worked.. not sure what the diff is but it works..

Free Shipping Options freeoptions can run at the same time as the other shipping modules ... so it is a "Free Shipping Option" ...

Free Shipping freeshipper runs ONLY when shipping is Free Shipping such as 0 weight makes it Free Shipping and 0 weight is set to be Free Shipping ... or the Cart is all Always Free Shipping Products ... etc.

So when you want the Free Shipping as an Option along with other shipping methods, use the Free Shipping Options freeoptions ...

NOTE: the yellow icon means either

1 something is not configured ...

2 you have set a filter or a Zone that limits the module to certain addresses ...
