HTML tags not working in main product page?

Hi, am a bit confused but am sure there is a simple answer! I have been trying to add a hyperlink to a document from within my product description area. I added the html but nothing happened. However when I click the actual product link to go to the detail area the html is working?

Is this by design or am I doing something daft?

HTML is disabled by default in listing descriptions. This is largely for safety, since if the description is truncated for the listing, ending tags might be cut off causing fatal errors.

If you can assume that risk and carefully control tag locations, it is possible and easy to enable HTML. Search the forum for zen_clean_html for the directions.

Hi, I followed your advice and carried out the tweak from the following post (http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/newrep...ote=1&p=583383).

This works great on the "Full" details Page, but on the "brief" details page I get the text, but no link......maybe I did something wrong.

It would be great if I could display the text and link only on the "Full" details page, or have the text and links working in both areas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see the functional link on the product listing page as well as the product info (details) page:

I have just re-checked and you are right (feel pretty dumb now) - huge apologies. It must have been because I had the site "open" and it didn't fully refresh. Sorry - I didn't mean to waste your time. Thanks very much again for your help with this.
