php scripts?
I am getting hundreds of messages into my error log like this.
[Tue Aug 25 13:11:00 2009] [info] Executing "/home/user/public_html/admin/index.php" as UID 32177, GID 32179
[Tue Aug 25 13:10:59 2009] [info] Executing "/home/user/public_html/admin/login.php" as UID 32177, GID 32179
[Tue Aug 25 13:10:54 2009] [info] Executing "/home/user/public_html/admin/login.php" as UID 32177, GID 32179
[Tue Aug 25 13:09:54 2009] [info] Executing "/home/user/public_html/index.php" as UID 32177, GID 32179
I contacted my hosting company and they replied
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] Upon investigating this further, I found that the UID and GID cited in the message belong to the "you" user. Given the fact that the server is running suphp, PHP scripts will be executed as your user. If one of your scripts calls the primary index.php, it would indeed result in this message being displayed. The messages can safely be ignored and are not an indication of an attack. [/FONT]
These messages are coming constantly, is there any way I can stop this. I have just changed my template to Desert Noon and did not notice if this problem started before change.
Can anyone help please.
Stephen.
