HTTP 500 internal server error

Hi I've transferred zencart from /shopping/ directory to site root directory and now I'm getting a 500 internal server error. I have read the posts about checking paths in the configure.php file which I did - it does show the old paths although when I corrected these I still received this error. Can anyone assist please.

There are a number of possible causes of internal server errors, none directly due to Zen Cart. If you scroll the the page a little you'll see a list of other threads that have tracked down various causes of this problem.
