Rather urgent - all shipping showing as free

I have a new installation on a new site which is going live tomorrow. Shipping was set up some time ago and working well in tests, using a combination of zones and weight rules. I have some downloadable products which should not have shipping applied, some physical products using weight rules exactly as per the Zen FAQs

Now, although everything looks the same, no shipping charges are being applied to either downloads or physical products.

The site and installation has been built by a devloper who I can't get hold of for a day or two - so I hope somebody has an idea or two otherwise I'm going to have a few customers who will get a very good deal!

I am not a shipping expert but a first step would be to look at which shipping modules you have installed and active. To find out go to admin>>modules>>shipping and have a look. The shipping expert that you are looking for will need that information to give you a good answer.

Thanks - it seems there might have been a software update that changed the way some things worked... the correct shipping modules are installed but no longer worked in the way that I had configured them. I've found a workround now, though, fortunately.
