removing account signup option.

Just wondering how i can edit the customer signup form as i would like to remove the phone number option.

Hi thanks for your reply, there is no option in that section to remove the telephone number , only to remove the fax number

Does anyone know if there is an option or Mod to completely remove the Newsletter option from the Customer sign up form?

in the Configuration > customer details, you can turn off the Newsletter checkbox but it still leaves the Title, and HTML/text radio buttons on! Weird.

Thanks stevesh, this worked perfectly for me too. Found the instructions a little confusing at first but did manage to install the patch successfully on my third attempt! I know, I know, showing my newbie status
