YIKES I blew up my database!

Hi, I've been working on this shopping cart for a few weeks now, just about have it done. I needed to delete all the countries since the client only wants to ship to the US. I decided to follow a thread on how to do it thru the database. I deleted all countries except for the US, then my entire shopping cart disappeared and I get the "there seems to be a problem connecting to our database" page. My Admin is also gone and I get this "0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED

I went back into the db and restored a prior version. When looking thru it it looks like the countries are back in there and my product seems to be there.

What happened, what did I do wrong? How do I fix this? PLEASE HELP!

BTW I changed my password for the database because I wasn't able to get in at first. Could that be the problem?

Oh boy I figured it out myself. I did cause it when I changed the password. I tracked down configure.php files located in admin/includes and includes/ and changed the password on those to the new ones. All is well. Sigh.
