Default Whoops! Your session has expired

This morning I had to revert to the a shared SSL on a shared server. I had to set "Force Cookie Use" to false in order to prevent the error "Whoops! Your session has expired".

Why does changing Cookie usage to false to resolve this error?

Cookies are tied to domain names. Cookies are often problematic with shared-SSL due to the different domain name. That's why 'force cookie use' is seldom recommended.
