Missing images??

Hi,

Not sure what has happened. I am just setting up a test site here:

www.ampmgraphics.com/demo

I want to to be the same as this site www.ampmgraphicsprint.com

As you will see there are background images missing and side images.

Can't figiure out what I have done wrong/not yet done ????

connect via FTP.

The file path you have for images state that there is no such image in this folder:

ampmgraphics.com/demo/images/banner_specials.gif

The file path on the workign image site is:

ampmgraphicsprint.com/images/banner_specials.gif

I think you will see the issue is your file path. Correct that and all will be working.

Thanks for that. The side images now show. Is it ok that they are in that file?

Still no background images though (In the middle section)??

You don't want to artificially point to the main shop location; you want to copy the image files to your test location. There are also custom language files missing, as evidenced by the stock define_main_page content and the HOME_PAGE_TITLE in the window header.

How did you originally create the test installation?

I didn't think I was doing that?? eeek

I set up the newest version of zen cart and added the custom folders from my original. I am trying to do it more logically this time ensuring I do the over-ride system.

So what bits are missing??

Just checking out the category Dressing I presume it would be possible to achieve the look of the side categories on this page http://www.ampmgraphics.com/ within zencart using this???

You can copy the homepage center content into /includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/define_main_page.php. Template image and background files should go in /includes/templates/your_template/images/.

The categories menu can easily be done with Categories Dressing.

Really baffled....Still no background

Basically I am having trouble seeing where bits are from my original site so I don't know what bits I need to copy over. I would just copy the whole site over but as I said I want to make sure its tidier this time

Who knows what I've done and where anything is!? hm

In my CSS of my working shop site its says

background-image: url(../images/body_bg.jpg);

But I can't find this image anywhere..and yet on my original shop ste the background does show.

Can anyone help?

Where are you looking for the image file? It should be in /includes/templates/your_template/images/.
