    Default Help flat rate shipping option not displayed for customer

    I'm not sure if my problem is tied to my credit card problem.

    I'm simply trying to set up flat rate shipping in the USA, with a second option to pick up at the brick and mortar location for free.

    The first issue is that the flat rate shipping option is not showing up as an option at check out.

    Second problem is the credit card (Auth.net) will not process. My guess is the issues are tied together.

    I've got the book, and I've searched the forums without luck, but I must be setting something up incorrectly.

    I could really use a mentor for some help even for a few minutes.

    OK - I just got the shipping option (flat rate) to show up. I guess I needed to add a weight to the item. I will check on those settings.

    (Update: The only option showing up was for in-store pick up since I had the Configuration > Shipping/Packaging > Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status set to 1 (on). Since all of the products currently are set to weight = 0, all of them were set to ship for free.)

    But I'm getting the error...
    Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

    I'm going to CLOSE THIS THREAD since my problems are now specific to the credit card processing and not shipping.

    I'll create a new thread.
