It addresses UPDATING your tables, not INSERTING new records. I never finished the 'inserting new records' addendum that I was working on.
But, that has not prevented numerous users from adapting their worksheets to do that.
I've managed (finally) to get my update scripts working,
but can't seem to get it to upload any new stock I have.
I've tried changing the 'UPDATE products SET' to say 'INSERT products SET' but this bring back an error. I'm probably just being blonde! ::frust
I'm fine with anything in excel but fairly new to SQL codes. Can anyone give me a couple of pointers as to what i need to change to get my products inserted rather than just updated.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Zen Cart is fantastic even if it is a steep learning curve (feels more like a cliff!!)
THANKS

Hi Guys,
I have read the entire thread and am trying hard to understand uploading data by excel.
Need a small help. I am planning to create a shopping cart for selling Stock Images. I have same price for 3 types of attributes for these images.
To mass upload the data for a particular category which tables do I need to populate.
Thanks.
