Linking to on sale items

I have a cart with several categories of on sale items. I'd like to create a link in my top ezpages bar that when clicked on would open a page pulling in all the on sale items from the different categories.

I tried doing it with attributes by inserting attributes text to the on sale products pages and then doing a search for the inserted text. If search could have picked it up then that would have given me a link to use.

Apparently search can't find the text because it isn't actually in the description field.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to accomplish this?

What you can do is to mark all products as specials and use the Specials link to see all products, Otherwise, if you have several categories on special, create a banner with different advertisement banners that show the categories that are on special. To the best of my knowledge, there is no easy way where you can show items from different categories on the same page. Maybe create a sales category and copy/link all sames items in this one. But i dont think you can copy many products at the same time, so that this solution is euqivalent to mark all products as specials.

those are good ideas.

Now, I'm wondering if there's a way to tell the search form to search the attributes area too.
