Thanks for your reply but no, this didn't fix it. One thing I did notice is that with these fixes, uploading from CSV also does NOT subscribe the customer to the newsletter even though the newsletter value equals 1.

Without the fixes, the customer IS subscribed.

So maybe somehow with these fixes the values of newsletter and send_welcome are not parsed?

Is there a "fixed version" of this mod available for download?
and does it comfortably do bulk imports?

is there also a way to send a customized welcome email different to the original one? (probably do a promo type one)

I bulk loaded 600 customers after making a few alterations to original mod. Will advise where can be downloaded once I have found a suitable place.
No way in existing mod to send custom welcome email apart from temporarily altering original template, do the load, and then revert it back to original.

did anyone ever upload a new version. I have about 1900 customers to upload
