Site Copy looks for zc_install

This is probably really simple and I just need more coffee, however at the moment, I can't figure it out.

I am testing a module and so I have copied the entire production database and file tree to my local system. However, when I hit the Zencart directory, instead of loading the store front, it is looking for (and not finding as it doesn't exist) the zencart/zc_install/index.php file. Why does the store think it needs to reinstall?

Sounds like you may not have done all the edits needed to the configure.php files. So your site is looking for folders (such as the cache folder) at non-existent locations, not finding them, concluding that this must be a new installation and going to look for the installer.

I'd go back through this FAQ, and ensure that you have followed every step to the letter, and double check that you haven't done something that it doesn't tell you to do.

Thanks - it is hard to tell what config I missed (there are several that I have adjusted that didn't fix it), but I didn't follow those instructions. That is a good resource, I appreciate it. Now I just need to quit being lazy and do things the right way.
