Unable to reset admin password

Hi there,

I've searched for solutions and have found codes to reset the admin password through phpmyadmin and SQL. Didn't work. Any pointers? The admin table is called jdmcartadmin, which I've used in the code aswell, it resets the admin information, but when I clear the cache, use another browser, and another computer to test it, I still can't login. It hasn't changed the login information. The reset password email still goes to the non-existing email and I can't figure out what I can change or what else to look for to reset the password.

Any help will be appreciated.

I've been experiencing the same problems with my new ZenCart installations. Using Fantastico and manual install methods.

I'm assuming you have read the following articles:

You can also use phpMyAdmin to double-check whether you have reset the admin password correctly.

1. Use the phpMyAdmin provided by your host and navigate to your Zen Cart database.
2. For tables without a prefix, look for the table named "admin". For tables with a prefix, look for the table named "prefix_admin". Your case could be "jdmcart_admin"?
3. After that, click the 'Browse' tab and you should see the admin details. Verify that the changes you made previously are correct.
