    Default Major problem

    I ftp'd zencart to the main directory of my website by accident and now my php require and/or include functions no longer work on my original pages. What happened and how do I fix it.
    www.dhcreationstation.com
    should have header and footer served by php require() but don't.

    Edit:
    I've tried using <?php thinking my server may have updated to php5, but when I veiw page source from browser, the php call is written out.

    Hey Kobra,
    I extracted download to desktop, then using my ftp client uploaded it (initially) to public_html directory on my server. I was trying to figure out how my ftp program worked(with no help) . No subdirs were uploaded at the time. On the next ftp run, I loaded it to shop dir.

    The cart works fine from what I can tell in the new dir, but when I removed the cart file from public_htm dir. My site went down. Did the script reset something? My main pages use htm/html extension with php calls inserted in the coding. these calls don't work the serve just adds it to the file output for the browser.

    And yet zencart runs fine in a sub dir.. I just don't get it.
    I noticed that it changed/added stuff to htaccess file, which I replaced and removed excess coding, but still same result.

    Well I've tried everything I can find to restore my site...

    could this have had something to do with the problem? I found it in zcart
    index.php.

    Code:
        session_write_close();
        header('Location: ' . 'http://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']);
        exit();

    Too vague???

    You stated that you installed to shop dir but above you state you removed the cart file
    What cart file?
    A file or a dir?

    Well here's an update:
    I just spent an hour an a 1/2 on the phone with my webhost trying to find the problem. He came to 2 conclusions:
    1. I need a network engineer to fix what happened.
    2. Something is up with the htacess files in the cart.
    It shuts down php to everything outside of the cart directory,
    including my html pages that use inline php.
    We even tried replacing my main htaccess file for ones that worked for other websites. With the same results either everything fell apart in both cart and my main pages or the php server would shut down and only run the cart.
