    Default Send Password to Customers?

I don't see an option for it, and don't know why it's not working. But, as an administrator in Zen Cart, can I send a password reminder to a customer? In fact...can I even see or create a password for a customer. Problem is that we have a few customers requesting a new password from the system through their account. but they're never receiving that email for whatever reason. Any ideas? Thanks!

The easiest is to use the forgot you password link on your website (not the admin) and enter the email address of the customer. This will send an email with the password (or maybe a new passord) to the customer.

Thanks for the info! But the problem is that the user is not getting the emails generated by our system. Be it his spam system or whatever. But he can get emails from us sent to him outside of Zen Cart. This happens once in a while to some customers, and I don't know how to get them their passwords otherwise. Thanks!

You can change the customers email address in the admin area and set a new password.

You should check why the emails are not delivered. I think that is very important issue that should be resolved. It could be that the customer marked your emails as spam and now they are automatically filtered as spam. But they should still be in some spam folder. And this automatic spam filter can be changed as well.

Thanks! I tried to change the email, but it's still not giving me the option for a new password. Odd. But yes...I bet it is a spam filtering thing on his end, though he is denying it. But thanks for the info!

First you change the email address to one that gets your mails and than you use the "Forget you password link" to request a new password.

Of course! Didn't think of that, but thanks for pointing it out to me. Cheers!
