Default Setting up Website Pro UK - which options?

Hi, I'm using Zen Cart v1.3.8 and have added the updates in the Payflow Pro URL Change thread.

So far I have managed to get Paypal Express working using the API settings but I'm trying to get Website Pro to work so I can accept cc payments on my site. So far I keep getting error messages.

Could someone point me at instructions for setting this up for a UK based account? Sorry if they are already posted, I just can't seem to find UK specific ones.

I believe I have to set up the Express option to use "Payflow-UK" (Option 2) and then enter the VENDOR/PASSWORD etc details, then install Website Pro and choose "Payflow-UK" (Option 2) in the Paypal Mode section. Is this right?

Any help would be really good, I'm starting to pull my hair out with this - I figure if I can be sure I have the Zen Cart setting correct, then I can chase Paypal if I need to.

    Yes, that is correct.

Thanks for the quick reply, I think I'm being a bit dim about this but PayPal doesn't seem to be able to help much!!

OK, so I've changed the PayPal Express settings to the Payflow-UK values (instead of just PayPal that uses the API settings). What should the PayPal Partner name be?

Now I get the following errors when trying to pay with PayPal - haven't even tries activating the Website Pro bit yet!!

With Partner as PayPalUK, I get "An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (7) 7 - Field format error: 10731-The field Shipping Address Country is required"

With Partner as PayPal, I get "An error occurred when we tried to contact the payment processor. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (26) 26 - Invalid vendor account"

The Partner/User/Vendor/Password are whatever was supplied to you by PayPal when you signed up for their services.

Assuming PayPal told you to use "PayPalUK" as the Partner, then that error message suggests that you've not got a valid country selected in Admin->Configuration->My Store, or maybe Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging.

If PayPal told you to use "PayPal" as your Partner setting, then the Error 26 means you've given the wrong Vendor name in your user/vendor/partner/password settings.

PayPal will have to tell you the right user/vendor/partner/password details.

Thanks again, I'm waiting for a reply from PayPal to confirm the details (someone else set up the account a few years ago so I don't have any of the details!).

I've been into the PayPal Account and to PayPal Manager - it gives the Partner as PayPalUK, but I've checked the Country as set up in both Admin->Configuration->My Store, and Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging and they are both set to United Kingdom.

I've also looked at this error on another thread and added the changes suggested there but still getting an error.

    Yes, both of those.

I think I'm going to have to wait until I get the info back from PayPal. I have a feeling that the account is a bit old and isn't working properly ;o)

I've reset everything back to the Express API setting for now as I'm going to cal it a night, hopefully I'll have a reply from PayPal by tomorrow.

I've just been told by PayPal to try Partner as PayPalUK. Have sent them the error message to see what they say. So it looks like I have to work out why I'm getting the (7) error.

That (7) error is typically fixed by the 2 updates I mentioned above.

If the problem still persists, turn on the debug logging, do a transaction that's triggering the problem, and post the contents of the log files named PayPal_CURL_xxxxxx.log: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61199

I've now activated the Website Payment Pro option too. When I try to pay with a credit card I get the following error:

"We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (1000)"
