Thanks, Misty. I also realized that the tagline was coming directly after the logo (the -150 left threw me off). I inserted a break after the logo, and the results are a little more understandable now (though still not what I want; more tweaking to follow).

All of this relative positioning is kind of new to me, and seems kind of complicated at first glance. What's the benefit over static positioning?

Thanks for pointing out the validation error! I have fixed it and the updated download file should be approved soon

Here is a good explanation of the different types of positioning in CSS:

I see that you have a new release that fixes the XHTML validation issues. I've already done some customization to the template. What's the best way for me to pick up this fix without risking overlaying any of my existing work?

Also, in includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_index_categories.php, there's reference to a class="greeting" but I can't find any definition of this class. Can someone explain this?

Lots of classes and ids are created in PHP files but not used in the default stylesheet; they are there so when somebody needs them, they can be used in the stylesheet without having to go into the code.

The changes were made in 3 files:

    includes/languages/english/html_includes/an_upscale_boutique/define_main_page.php

    includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/css/stylesheet.css

    includes/templates/an_upscale_boutique/css/stylesheet_css_buttons.css

You can use your favorite file comparison program to find all of the changes in the css files. The only change to the xhtml was the removal of the final </div> tag in the define_main_page.php file.

Got them. Thanks. Out of curiosity, what was the motivation for the very minor color tweaks?

These were made to get rid of the warnings in the css validator.

    Hi, Anne –

I'm having an odd problem with my site. The "update" buttons in the shopping cart line items are "dead;" that is, they're not linked to an action. Any idea why that might be? I don't think it has to do with your template, but I need to rule out all possibilities.
