Hi there,
I think the client may have done this one (I certainly didn't)
When a client completes a payment, and the "checkout successful" page appears, a dialogue box pops up asking for the site's cpanel login.
Why the heck would it ask for a cpanel login? Maybe something to do with permissions, or a missing file?
Here's what I'm talking about:
I've searched Google and the forums but have no idea. Please help! You'll save my life!

Your page probably has a reference to an image from your cPanel file manager or something. Check the define_checkout_success.php raw html content to see whether you've got some weird URLs in there.
