Help needed customizing Mostlygrey template.

The only addons are templates: I am using the Mostlygrey template.

This site is under construction and not yet live.

Browser: IE 8

I have searched the forums and I cannot locate the information that I need to:

Remove the big-book-ad.gif located at the bottom/footer of the page: http://monterey bay images.x10hosting.com /Catalog/zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007/index.php?main_page=.

2. Remove the cardsvc_468x60.gif, which comes up randomly when a product is clicked for viewing.

3. Remove the think.gif which comes up randomly when a product is clicked for viewing.

4. There are several other pop up adds that appear in the footer that I would like to remove, How do I remove these items. When I click on the adds, none of them take me out to their sites. The links do not work, even when I right click and use "open link,
open link in new window, or open link in new tab. All of these items seem associated with the footer of the page.

Turn off the banners and see if that helps.

Admin - Tools - Banner Manager
&
Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings
Banner Display Groups - change the one you do not want to "blank"

Thank you Mary Ellen. It worked. I breezed over the banner information thinking that a banner is easily recognizable. Now I can easily recognize what is and what is not a banner and how to use them.
