Hope this is the right forum to post this issue in and that, despite my search efforts here and elsewhere, this hasn't been addressed before.
We're looking at building a store that will operate in Canada's two official languages: English and French. As far as I can tell, ZC allows one to globally customize a currency's display notation, but what we really need is the ability to have two different notations (for the same currency) depending on the language in which the storefront is being viewed by the client. In our case, to respect national norms, prices and amounts in Canadian currency should be displayed as follows:
English: $1,234.56
French: 1 234,56 $
Would anyone know if a mod or hack exists for this? I would expect people in Switzerland, with its four official languages, are having a similar issue.
Any idea or suggestion would be appreciated.
Disclosure: I'm also evaluating CubeCart and, in case someone notices, I posted an almost identical question in their forum.
Cheers /n
