Default Offering additional shipping for free shipping method?

    Hi to everyone,

I am using the latest version of zen cart 1.38 and I am wandering is there anyway that I can offer my customers additional options other then the free shipping.

By this I mean I have free shipping set at £40 and over, the free shipping will be at a slower postage option so I was wandering if I could put extra paid services for getting the item by lets say next day post, special delivery etc.

    thanks in advance

Turn off the Free Shipping in the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ...

Turn on the Modules ... Shipping ... Free Shipping Options freeoptions and set that to Total >= 40 ...

Now, this will show at the same time as all of your other Shipping Module(s) when the order total is >= 40 ...

    thanks Ajeh,

the only problem I have now is, I have royal mail standard parcels as an option but on checkout it comes to £11 for postage. I have put the item weight as 2 which according to royal mail should be £4 + my added £1.50 handling fee?

Is it adding something extra somewhere in the settings? the weight on checkout is 5kg? on the shop I have lbs so is this the confusion.

    Any help appreciated, thanks

I don't use Royal Mail module ... but my first thought is ... have you checked the Tare settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... where perhaps you might be adding more weight or something to the shipping?
