zone table problems

Hi, i am new to using zen cart and am trying to use the zone table to set up the postage for uk europe and ROW. I have converted the Lbs to Kgs after reading another thread. I am now trying to set it so that zone 1 is gb and that anything under 0.5Kg is £2 then from 0.6 to 1.5Kg is £3

For example for the UK i have tried entering:

in the Zone 1 countries table i have entered the GB code

in the Zone 1 Shipping table i have entered : 0.5:2,1.5:3,100000:10%

the product i have tried this with is 0.8Kg so should cost £2 however whenever a customer tries to buy it, it works the postage out as:

Zone Rates (Shipping to GB (1 x 3.80Kg(s))) £1.50

Where has the 1x3.80Kg come from? and why is it £1.50 not £2. I know it is something stupid i am doing wrong but i have been trying to get this working for 2 hours now and am having no luck.

Sorry if this has been posted somwhere else i did try looking but cannot find anything on this problem.

Check the Shipping/Packaging for the Tare Rate being added to the weight of the order ... by default, this is currently 3.0 ...
