Admin Login, Bouncing back to login screen

I didn't change anything.. . yet when I login, it looks to be successful and I click a link within my admin panel, and it bounces me back to the login screen. I've tried adding a new admin user via phpmyadmin, but same thing. I'm stumped!

I got the same problem with my ZenCart V1.2.7 after the host is upgraded to new version of PHP and MySQL.

Any suggestions for a temp fix until I have time to update ZenCart to the latest version?

There is only one fix for v1.2.7: upgrade to v1.3.9
There are no patches.
